My academic journey has been defined by a deep passion for nanomaterials and physics, rooted in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. I began my scientific exploration with a Bachelor of Sciences in Physics from the University of Duhok, completing my degree between 1998 and 2002. This foundational period sparked my curiosity and set the trajectory for my future research career.

Continuing my academic pursuit, I obtained my Master of Sciences in Solid State Physics from the University of Duhok between 2004 and 2006. This critical stage of my education deepened my understanding of the intricate world of molecular and material structures, preparing me for more advanced research.

The pinnacle of my academic training came with my PhD in Nanomaterials and Structures from National Taiwan University, which I completed between 2010 and 2014. This transformative period not only expanded my technical expertise but also exposed me to cutting-edge international research methodologies.

Currently, I serve as the Dean of the College of Science (CSCN) and continue my work as an Assistant Professor of Nanomaterials. In this role, I blend my extensive research background with academic leadership, working to advance scientific education and research in our institution.

My journey reflects a committed path of continuous learning, research, and academic excellence, bridging the scientific communities of Kurdistan and the international academic world.

2010–2014 PhD in Nano-materials and structures, National Taiwan University.

2004-2006 M.Sc. Solid state physics, University of Duhok, Iraq\ Kurdistan region.

1998-2002 B.Sc. Physics, University of Duhok, Iraq\ Kurdistan region.

After I get my MSc degree and start my work as assistant Lecturer in the University of Duhok, I have been involved in teaching of many subjects (Theoretical and Practical) for undergraduate and graduate students such as Optics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Renewable Energy, Introduction to Nanotechnology, Nanophysics, Research Methodology, and Instrumentation. In addition, Pedagogical modules (ICT, SCL, Edupreneurship, and R&D) for the MSc and PhD holders in Duhok Pedagogy center.
