Kadhim Fathel Khalil is a Professor, Ph.D., in the Department of Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Duhok, Iraq. He received his B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering with honors from the University of Mosul, Iraq, and his M.Sc. in Architectural Science from the same university. He earned his Ph.D. in Architectural Theory from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has been a faculty member at the University of Duhok since 2005. His research interests include architectural theory, history, technology, and spatial studies in architecture.
