I have been a dedicated University Lecturer since 2010, contributing significantly across multiple departments at the College of Basic Education and currently serving the College of Education, English Department. My teaching experience spans all undergraduate stages (First through Fourth Year), demonstrating comprehensive instructional breadth within the institution.

Teaching Philosophy and Expertise

My instructional portfolio encompasses diverse, interdisciplinary subjects across core educational, psychological, and linguistic domains:

- Educational Studies: General Methods of Teaching, Educational Psychology, Educational Programs, and Testing and Assessment.

- Psychology: General Psychology, Psychology of Reading and Writing.

- Linguistics & Communication: English Language, Italian Language, and Academic Debate.

My pedagogy is centered on fostering active, deep learning and ensuring the successful transfer of theoretical knowledge to practical, real-life contexts. I utilize a range of high-impact, student-centered methodologies, including:

Community Engagement and Mentorship

A core objective of my career is to coach and lead students to become active, engaged contributors to society. I have actively mentored student-led initiatives, resulting in the organization and execution of multiple successful volunteer projects and community outreach activities, particularly those focused on supporting children in need. I approach my work with deep commitment and passion, dedicated to cultivating future professionals.

1. Organizer and manager of a project entitled "children's smile" for some special needs children's centers such as: 1. Jeen center for Thalassemia and cancer diseases, 2. Awat center for special needs children(down syndrome), 3. Orphanage center. (2013-2017).

2. Member and participant in EPOSE  an Italian Organization entitled "my future" at university of Duhok and Domis camp,  (2013-2014)

3. Member and participant in the project "Inclusive education, intercultural competence, and democratic citizenship in teacher education." A joint action project between the University of Duhok\Kurdistan region and Buskerud University College, Norway. (2011-2012)

4. Teacher of English language in Cambridge university press, a center of languages in Duhok .

5. Translator in a cooperation (CCIB) in 2009

6. Tutor and a translator in one of the workshops between the University of Foggia and UNESCO entitled “training of trainers in teacher education for sustained quality education” , in April 2008.

7. Participation in one of the conference in Commune of Bitonto entitled      “to be the citizens of the world “, in November 2007.

8. Translator in one of the conference that had been taken place in Foggia university about “the future of Iraqi university” in November 2006.

9. Teacher in “C. Poerio” High school, a social science and linguistics high school( psycho-sociological, pedagogical). Under one of the UNICEF’s project (Let’s Build Peace) in 2004/2005.

My current research agenda is strategically focused on critical areas that intersect educational technology, curriculum design, and pedagogical effectiveness within the domain of language education. This work employs both rigorous qualitative and advanced quantitative methodologies to investigate and advance the field.

Provides academic and methodological supervision for undergraduate final-year students (4th stage). This includes advising on research projects, dissertations, and applied studies centered on the intersection of educational theory, language pedagogy, and didactic strategies relevant to the field of second/foreign language teaching and learning.
