My teaching experience began at the University of Duhok – College of Basic Education in 2015, where I taught several core courses, including: Computer Science, Measurement and Evaluation, Educational Research Methods, Observation and Application, and Written Expression. This diversity allowed me to engage with multiple cognitive and educational aspects, contributing to the development of my professional expertise.
Through teaching these courses, I worked to develop students' technical skills, enhance their understanding of educational assessment methods, introduce them to the foundations and methodologies of scientific research in the field of education, guide them in their practical training within schools, and develop their language skills in academic expression. As I continue teaching to this day, I have developed an educational vision based on active learning and building an interactive classroom environment.
My academic activity over the past years represents a significant advancement in the field of teaching methodologies and special education, particularly in the area of inclusive education. In 2019, I participated in an international conference at the University of Oldenburg and the University of Vechta in Germany, which addressed teaching strategies and programs for integrating students with special needs. This allowed me to learn about European models for using teaching methods and programs for people with disabilities.
In 2021, I participated for the second time in a specialized conference on programs for integrating students with special needs, held at the University of Oldenburg. This participation deepened my understanding of practical applications in teaching, especially inclusion programs, and enhanced my expertise in evaluating educational programs.
I also participated in a scientific workshop at the University of Duhok in 2024, with the participation of Arab universities. My focus was on exchanging regional experiences and developing academic practices within local educational contexts.
These participations summarize my academic journey as one based on advancing scientific knowledge, developing my research skills in my field of specialization—teaching methodologies and special education programs—and engaging in international scientific dialogue that contributes to improving policies and programs for inclusive education.
